About Birch Care
Our Story
Birch Care was created from lived experience.
Our founder was seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident and experienced both physical and mental health challenges. During his recovery, he relied on support services and quickly realised how little choice and control he had over his daily life.
That experience shaped the heart of Birch Care.
Birch Care was built to restore dignity, freedom and confidence, giving people real choice in how they live, what they do and who supports them.
Today, Birch Care is a proud NDIS Registered Provider supporting people aged 5 to 65 across the Gold Coast, Tweed Heads , Logan, Beenleigh, Ipswich, Brisbane and Beaudesert.

Birch Care has proudly supported people with disability for over 5 years across the Gold Coast, Tweed Heads , Logan, Beenleigh, Ipswich, Brisbane and Beaudesert.
Our team brings over 20 years of combined industry experience, giving families confidence that their loved ones are receiving professional, safe and compassionate care.
All support workers complete a thorough induction process and ongoing online training every year. Before working in the field, every team member holds all required credentials including NDIS Worker Screening, police checks, first aid, CPR and relevant qualifications.
Our staff are carefully selected, trained and supported so every participant receives consistent, high quality care.

Daily Personal Activities
At Birch Care, we understand the profound significance of daily personal activities in cultivating a life of fulfilment and autonomy. Our Daily Personal Activities services, aligned with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), are meticulously crafted to provide individuals with disabilities the essential support required to navigate daily routines, elevate self-care skills, and ignite a sense of empowerment.
Travel and Transportation
Birch Care provides transport services for people with disabilities to promote independent life. Our participants benefit from improved mobility, smooth access to appointments, and pleasant transport to work and social gatherings. We encourage their independence in travel by empowering them to use public transit.
Supported Independent Living
With the help of personalised NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL) services from Birch Care, we help individuals with disabilities to live independent lives while still receiving the care and support they require to thrive.
Short Term Respite
Short Term Respite (STR), including respite care, offers participants a temporary break from their usual living environment. Typically, up to 14 days, STR comes in various forms, from staying with others in larger properties to residing in private accommodations.
Responsibility
We create tailored programs for every participant in partnership with families and loved ones.
Our experienced team supports people living with a wide range of conditions including:

- Autism and complex needs
We provide in home support, community access, fun and engaging day programs, as well as 24 hours a day, 7 days a week care where required.
Birch Care also delivers Supported Independent Living SIL and Individualised Living Options ILO, helping participants live as independently as possible in safe, supportive environments.
