Occupational Therapist
Birch Care is looking for energetic, caring, and enthusiastic people to join our company. We are currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to work across South Australia, Gold Coast, Tweed Heads, Logan, Beenleigh, Ipswich, Brisbane and Beaudesert regions as an Independent Contractor.

The Role
As an Independent Contractor Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Manage your own caseload across South Australia.
- Deliver evidence-based, participant-centred therapy.

Conduct a wide range of NDIS-related assessments, including:
- Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA).
- Supported Independent Living (SIL) Assessments.
- Assistive Technology (AT) assessments and recommendations.
- Home modification assessments.
- Risk assessments and support needs reports.
- Develop tailored therapy plans to support independence and outcomes.
- Provide services in community, home or clinic settings.
- Complete high-quality reports and documentation.
- Liaise with families, carers and support coordinators.
Contractor Details
- This is an independent contractor role. ABN required.
- You will have full control over your availability and workload.
- You will invoice Birch Allied Health for services provided.
- Superannuation will be paid in accordance with applicable legislation.
About You
- Registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
- NDIS experience preferred, but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.
- Strong report writing and communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
