Speech Therapist
Birch Care is looking for energetic, caring, and enthusiastic people to join our company. We are currently recruiting for a Speech Therapist to work across the South Australia, Gold Coast, Tweed Heads , Logan, Beenleigh, Ipswich, Brisbane and Beaudesert region with an immediate start!
This opportunity is ideal for clinicians seeking flexibility, strong earning potential and full admin support, while focusing on delivering high-quality therapy services.

- Strong referral stream with NDIS participants forming the majority of the caseload.

- Full admin support, including assistance with bookings, coordination and invoicing support.

The Role
As an Independent Contractor Speech Pathologist, you will:
- Manage your own caseload across South Australia.
- Deliver evidence-based, participant-centred therapy.

Conduct a range of NDIS-related assessments, including:
- Functional communication assessments.
- Swallowing, or dysphagia, assessments.
- AAC assessments and recommendations.
- Communication reports and support plans.
- Develop tailored therapy plans to support independence and outcomes.
- Provide services in community, home or clinic settings.
- Complete high-quality reports and documentation.
- Liaise with families, carers and support coordinators.
Contractor Details
- This is an independent contractor role. ABN required.
- You will have full control over your availability and workload.
- You will invoice Birch Allied Health for services provided.
- Superannuation will be paid in accordance with applicable legislation.
About You
- Qualified Speech Pathologist. SPA membership preferred.
- NDIS experience preferred, but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.
- Strong communication and report writing skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
